82 • January 2015 www.concreteproducts.com INNOVATIONS 2015 WORLD OF CONCRETE Tighter environmental regulations and yard space restrictions are requiring concrete producers to find new ways to dispose of their waste water. McLanahan Corp. has tailored gray water recycling systems to equip producers for compliance, while positioning their operations for improved efficiency, productivity and profitability. McLanahan returns to World of Concrete this year (Booth N237) with an operating filter press that removes cement fines and pro- duces a dry, easy-to-handle cake with high solids content. The filter press allows producers to easily recycle or dispose of cement fines, while providing clean, recyclable water and reducing a producer's environmental footprint. Additionally, McLanahan will be introduc- ing its concrete plant-geared Separator equipment, engineered to improve sand recovery from existing mix reclaimers. Sales and pro- cess design experts will be on hand to discuss custom engineered solutions for a concrete operation and advise producers on maximiz- ing returns by tackling more with existing resources. — McLanahan Corp., Hollidaysburg, Pa., 814/695-9807; www.mclanahan.com Filter press makes fines recovery a piece of cake
