62 • April 2018 www.concreteproducts.com INNOVATIONS EQUIPMENT & PRODUCTS Upgraded LFP9001XL oil filter is designed for the widely spec'ed Cummins ISX engine. The XL (Extended Life) version features a 100 percent synthetic filter media that keeps oil flowing smoothly while delivering enhanced filter efficiency over a longer time period. XL filters can help reduce the frequency replacements and increase vehicle uptime while reducing total service and filter spend. "An oil filter should be judged on three metrics: efficiency, capacity and restriction," says Luber-finer Director of Heavy Duty Marketing Layne Gobrogge. "[Our] full flow technology has been proven to outperform combination bypass filters in particulate removal efficiency and capacity, as well as offer lower oil restriction." As calculated using ISO 4548-12 and ISO 4548-1 criteria for in-house testing vs. alternative filters, company engineers note, the LFP9001XL provides 100 percent greater efficiency at removing particulate at 5 microns; 45 percent more capacity to capture harmful particulate; and, 8 percent less restriction on an engine's oil flow under harsh test conditions at a 25-gal./minute flow rate. — Luber-finer, Toledo, Ohio, 800/851-3641; www.luberfiner.com Extended life oil filter Columbia Machine Inc. continues the North American launch of an eight- model planetary mixer series from Techmatik S.A., a Radom, Poland manufacturer it acquired in 2016.
