The app aligns field operations with business strategy through immediate insight into the location of assets and their hours of use. Programmers underscore these AssetOutlook features: • Equipment optimization. Improves visibility into preventative maintenance, fleet activity and asset utilization with cumulative engine hours and AEMP data feeds; • Full stack, single source solution. Program powered by CalAmp Telematics Cloud and companion devices to provide reliable, secure and actionable telematics intelligence without interoperability issues of multiple provider solutions; • Adaptability. Streamlines operations by adapting to mixed fleets' unique attribute profiles and key performance indicators; and, • CAN bus capabilities. Provide direct engine hour or odometer readings, fuel levels, service interval indicators, hydraulics, oil pres- sure and a variety of other details related to remotely optimizing operations. AssetOutlook developers cite the myriad of challenges associated with construction fleet maintenance and repairs, equipment acquisi- tion/replacement, rental contract usage, fuel cost/consumption and labor shortage. In response, they contend, businesses that integrate Internet of Things solutions like fleet telematics devices can achieve greater competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving marketplace. AssetOutlook enables fleet owners to leverage telematics to tap into a new layer of actionable insights that unlock real-time information about rolling stock. "The construction industry is comprised of mixed fleets of equip- ment from multiple manufacturers across numerous job sites, and management of those assets can be challenging and often leads to inefficiencies and revenue loss," says CalAmp SaaS Business Vice Pres- ident and General Manager Paul Washicko. "By leveraging our portfolio of technologies and solutions, we developed AssetOutlook as a tailored solution for the construction industry to enhance equipment manage- ment, serviceability and efficiency by optimizing utilization, improving preventative maintenance and helping prevent unauthorized use and theft." — CalAmp, Irvine, Calif., www.calamp.com/assetoutlook CALAMP | ASSETOUTLOOK AssetOutlook Dashboard quickly references key equipment and ve- hicle performance metrics. Users can configure charts to identify top performers and filter results of their charts by group, category or a specific asset. AssetOutlook Reports access data sets detailing machine and vehicle utilization, including number of hours and days assets have been operated, plus start and end times. A Geozone report shows how many assets were used on site and how many hours they were op- erated. Tracking Tab displays an asset location map and summary of addi- tional details for each piece of rolling stock. Esri feature enables users to include weather and traffic records, and display customized asset routes and travel history. Alerts feature informs managers of when equipment is being moved from one location to another; if an ignition is turned on after hours; excessive hours of use; and, preventative maintenance requirements. A tandem feature to Alerts, Geofences, sets location boundaries that can be used to identify work zones and off-limits areas. AssetOutlook will record arrival and departure time stamps of equipment and vehicles for each geozone.
