MANUFACTURERS The Oshkosh Truck Corp. Board of Direc- tors has appointed Wilson Jones presi- dent and chief operat- ing officer, effective August 1. Shifting from his current role as Access Equipment Jones Segment executive vice president, he suc- ceeds Charles Szews, who will continue as chief executive officer. Fierro Jones' replacement is Frank Neren- hausen, currently Oshkosh executive vice president and Commercial Segment president, with re- sponsibilities for the namesake and Mc- Neilus mixer and refuse truck plus Con-E- Co plant equipment brands. Succeeding him will be Commercial Segment Vice Pres- ident of Operations Todd Fierro. Propex Operating Co. in Chattanooga, Tenn., has announced an agreement whereby its Fibermesh brand of concrete reinforcing fibers will be available in western Canadian markets through Brock White, a St. Paul, Minn.-based construction materials distrib- utor with 14 upper Midwest locations, plus 10 additional outlets north of the border. "Propex and Brock White have a long and successful partnership through the distribu- tion of our geosynthetic products and we are thrilled to offer our entire infrastructure product line through Brock White," said Propex Executive Vice President Bruno. "With 10 stocking Brock White locations in Western Canada, the delivery of a full line of Fibermesh products will be quick and easy." RPM International Inc. has acquired Vi- apol Ltda., a leading Brazilian manufacturer and marketer of building materials and con- struction products, including concrete ad- mixtures. "With Brazil hosting the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics, the timing of this ac- quisition couldn't be better as we expect to capitalize on the related boom in in- frastructure and commercial construc- tion," said Euclid Chemical President Moorman Scott. " Viapol's products are brand leaders in the Brazilian market and include rolled asphalt roofing materials, waterproofing products, industrial epoxy flooring systems, structural recovery products, and retail paints, var- nishes and stains. The company has more than 300 employees, nearly 125 independ- ent sales representatives and two ISO-9000 certified manufacturing facilities in Brazil.
