The transaction enables Detroit Reman to strengthen a commitment to what manage- ment notes is "a superior customer experience in the driveline aftermarket." Mascot Truck Parts will keep all operations and support functions at its Remanufactur- ing Centers of Excellence in Plainfield, Ind., and Mississauga, Ont., and continue shipping within 24 hours from 28 logistic centers in North America. "Mascot's portfolio complements our driveline products," says Detroit Reman President Sanjiv Khurana. "We will also be able to leverage Mascot's national footprint to offer a better customer experience and faster turnaround time." Mack Truck has named Joseph Favia as U.S. Central Region vice president, responsible for increasing market share and profitability. He began his career as a Chicago Mack salesman, advancing to roles of increasing responsibil- ity, and most recently served as Mack North Central District sales manager. Capacity expansion reaffirms what management calls a "commitment to continued ISO 9001:2015-certified American manufacturing, increasing jobs, and driving local economic development in and around Grand Rapids, Michigan." "We are experiencing increased demand from owners, developers and general contractors due to the advan- tages Helix Steel brings to distribution and logistics centers, manufacturing facilities and large multifamily devel- opments," says Founder and Chief Technology Officer Luke Pinkerton. "The U.S. steel industry is rebounding, and with continued support for Buy America compliant solutions, Helix Steel will be able to deliver American innovation on the global stage." Amid reports of tunnel, bridge, dam and other critical structure failures, adds CEO Chris Doran, "Our goal is to change the conversation from how cheaply someone can build, to how it can be built to last. We challenge owners, archi- tects, builders, designers and engineers to put more thought into how we build. Adding proactive concrete reinforcement technology to any project provides a longer lifespan and lower life-cycle cost." Helix Steel Micro Rebar imparts cracking resistance in concrete slabs and structures, and is the only product bearing an ISO 17065 evaluation report showing compliance with International Building Code and International Resi- dential Code provisions for augmenting or replacing traditional reinforcing steel. — www.helixsteel.com For full information and videos, visit www.scaletron.com Dealers throughout U.S. and Canada 1 800 632 7083 info@scaletron.com BatchTron touch screen controller has new features to improve your batching process Mobile Control roving tablet computer lets you control everything from anywhere in the plant area High Pressure Mixer Washout improves safety and gives you ½ hour more production every day SiloWeigh gives precise silo inventory, prevents overfill or running out of material as well as checking for underweight deliveries improve your batching process improve your batching process Mobile Control roving tablet roving tablet computer lets you control computer lets you control everything from anywhere in everything from anywhere in the plant area High Pressure Mixer Washout High Pressure Mixer Washout improves safety and gives you ½ improves safety and gives you ½ hour more production every day hour more production every day SiloWeigh gives precise silo gives precise silo inventory, prevents overfill or running out of material as well as running out of material as well as AquaSense all-new microwave moisture sensor corrects your dry material weights AquaMix all-new mixer moisture sensor gives you precise slump or moisture control For full information and videos, visit For full information and videos, visit
